FRP Tanks

Fiberglass reinforced plastic tanks used in water treatment is shorted for FRPT, and it is also named water filter FRP tank, FRP vessel for water treatment and softener FRP pressure tanks, etc. FRP is an advanced composite material made of fiberglass and resin. As a high-performance material, FRP can be used to construct products such as tanks, piping, gratings and so on.

Our FRP tanks are manufactured by modern automated filament winding process in conformity with export standard. The FRP tank has a high performance epoxy resin outer shell with polyethylene (PE) or ABS seamless one-piece liner. The tank with two layers of protection is superior corrosion resistant and rustproof. Besides, our tank is watertight, lightweight. Meanwhile, it's high strength and durable, which is longevity and can save your money in a long run.

The FRP tank is mainly for the softener and treatment of water, which is widely used in industry and civil life, including chemical industry, light industry, textile, medicine, biology, food, electroplating waste water treatment, etc.

Standard FRP tanks with different colors and good-looking appearance.There are seven different FRP tanks with tripod base standing in two lines, the front line is natural color and the second line is blue.

Different specifications are available for wide application.Two pictures with different bottom to describe respectively which is LA, LB, LC, D and X in the form.

Standard stands are used for diameter less than 18 inch; tripod stands are used for diameter more than 20.

Specification：

Liner: polyethylene (PE)/ABS.

Shell: continuous strands of fiber-glass with high strength epoxy resin.

Opening: 2.5" NPSM, 4" - 8" UN, flange.

Bottom: standard base or tripod base.

Blue, grey, natural color. Other color can be custom made according to your needs.

Operating specification:

Working pressure: 100 psi.

Testing pressure: (a) ≤ 1.0 MPa (150 psi) (10.5 bar).

Bursting pressure: 300 psi.

Operation temperature: 1-49 °C (34 °F - 120 °F).

Maximum vacuum 127 mmHg (5"Hg).

Used as sand filter, carbon filter and softener.

The tripod base is for tanks whose diameter is more than 20 inch.

Corrosion-resistance

With FRP/PE liner, the tank has superior corrosion-resistant performance, which is resistant to most of the chemicals used today.

Rustproofing

The water tank shell is made of continuous strands of fiber-glass with high strength epoxy resin, which has a fine gloss as well as rustproof.

Just as its name FRP vessel for water treatment, it can be used to filtering the suspended solids and pungent odour. Meanwhile, it can be used to soften the hard water by reduce the concentration of calcium, magnesium and come metal cations.
